The Pecheles Automotive Group and the Salvation Army location within Beaufort, Craven, and Pitt County are proud to announce our new partnership. Pecheles Automotive will be setting up three drop points at all seven of their dealerships located in Greenville, New Bern, and Washington. Starting Monday September 24th through Saturday September 29th, we will have drop boxes for anyone to swing by and drop off non-perishable food and other items the victims of Hurricane Florence so desperately need.

After meeting with the Stephanie McKenzie, Human Resource Director and Volunteer Coordinator for the Pitt County Salvation Army she stated, “we are so grateful to be able to develop relationships with strong community leaders like Pecheles Automotive. Without their support our job would be so much harder. I hope that their generosity for other community leads others to join us. Because of the flooding the food people had in their homes is now contaminated and it has to be replaced. We need to feed those in need, while also cleaning up where they live so they have a home to go back to. The food and cleaning supplies that will be donated by Pecheles Automotive and community donors will allow us to achieve our goal and help those affected by the storm get back on their feet.”

In tandem with the partnership, the Pecheles Automotive Group has launched a new logo to assist the community in recognizing the giving back the philanthropic projects of the company. Pecheles Gives Back is something that many within the community are familiar with. Pecheles Gives Back first launched last year with the PBIS give back program, where the group donated $10,000 to Pitt County Schools in order to fund their PBIS program. When asked what the logo means Brian Pecheles, President of Pecheles Automotive stated, “This logo embodies what our company stands for. We would not be here today if it wasn’t for the support of our local community. The hand in heart symbolizes our willingness as an organization to continuously give back to those who have supported us. In times of need we want the people of Eastern North Carolina to know that Pecheles Automotive will always be there to offer a helping hand.”

Some of the items desperately needed are miscellaneous cleaning supplies, canned goods, and non-perishable food items. For a more detailed list please visit Those that choose to participate will be given a 10% off coupon their next service visit as a thanks for helping us give back.
