The 24-Hour Race Le Mans

If you haven't heard of Le Mans don't worry I just found out about it two weeks ago. Two weeks ago I was working on a graphic when I got a call from one of our Internet manager's saying that I should post something on Facebook about Le Mans race this weekend. Le Mans is a European sports car race held in France that has teams from all over the world competing in a 24-hour endurance race. I told him I would post something but I had to do some research first.

For the record I am not a huge fan of car racing but this sounded interesting. I did a quick Google search and found a couple articles but nothing that really stood out to me. A car going in circles for 24 hours doesn't do much for me. While I was searching for some more interesting content I received a link to the Audi website from our Internet Manager and found an amazing video on YouTube of Audi's 2011 Le Mans race.  The video is about 14 minutes and it's pretty awesome. I am a sucker for documentaries and this video was right up my alley. It showed the history of the track and how drivers grew up watching this race and how it was a dream come true that they were now competing in it. The video not only goes through the driver's perspective but also the engineers who designed the racecars. If you like car racing I think it's safe to say you will like this video.
