With the exception of a refresh three years ago, the A7 has remained unchanged since it arrived in 2012. Since then, its’ fastback shape has been the source of much mimicry, but no equal. Now, it’s entering its second generation as the 2019 Audi A7 with a refined design, more innovative technology, and better performance.

Although the fastback shape remains, elsewhere, the A7 borrows heavily from the A8. This can be particularly seen in the designs of the front and rear fascias, the former of which has a similar grille treatment and headlight design. Inside, the cabin offers the same three-screen setup, and the inner workings also boast the same mild-hybrid system. At launch, the 2019 A7 will also feature a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 with 340 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque, sent to a quattro system by way of a seven-speed transmission.

No official availability has been announced for the 2019 A7 as of yet, but our best guess is late next year. In the meantime, you can explore the other new Audi models we have on our Greenville, NC lot by browsing our online inventory.
